later and later...

I very nearly decided to leave today's drawing until tomorrow, as it is late ... I've been changing, tweaking and adding listings to the shop!

However, I decided to just buck up and draw quickly - not my best but I love the smells of Christmas - the tree, mulled wine, gingerbread and all those warm, cosy smells - this seemed to be a good way to symbolise that.

Better late than never...

Here's my #illo_advent drawing for today - rather late - it hasn't yet made it to the scanner but it's quite nice to see it on the table for a change. I'm yet to actually get the decorations out, but it was nice to peep into the box and find this old friend to draw.

Sadly I know no German but do love these delicious gingery biscuits. I'm planning on making some again this year, but I confess I bought a packet in order to draw them! (making them first would have taken forever to get around to doing the drawing!). 

(If I've got this German terribly wrong please let me know!)

I've decided to join in with #illo_advent a hashtag that I enjoyed following last year. I thought I'd get really prepared and join in this year - and then realised I thought I'd do that on Thursday afternoon (1st December). So, we'll see how it goes! I have had four designs put onto Enamel mugs!

There is an Autumn mug, Beech leaves - from green through to brown, Flowers - a rainbow of colours, from red through to blue, and finally a pheasant design. The height is 80mm, diameter 86mm.
