Magazine article!

Oh my... I am featured in this month's #WelshBorderLife Magazine! It is for their article 'Inspired by the Country' - here's a quick peek inside.

The article is about my Christmas Cards - which you can find in the shop by clicking here! The magazine can be found in many retailers - I've seen it at Ludlow Food Centre (where I have Christmas cards, Greeting cards, Notebooks, Mugs, Coasters, Prints and Originals for sale until the end of December).

Excuse the over excited face - but I've not been featured in a magazine before!

Christmas Card Packs...

I've just created a new listing for my Christmas Card packs in the shop to hopefully make it a bit easier to find.

I've also spent the day photographing yet more new cards and adding those to the shop - there are 3 different packs / collections you can buy now!

The first is packs of 20 Christmas Cards - either mixed packs, 4 of each of the 5 designs, or 20 of the same design, just choose the variation you like best.

There is also a Flora and Fauna set - have a look at those here!

And finally there are the ones in this photograph - a selection pack so you have a range of occasions covered! Find those here!

Have a lovely weekend!

Photography

Day 17 | #MarchMeetTheMaker is #photography

My fab friend Louise Mary Designs helped me photograph my first few items in my etsy shop.

Pictures were taken with her lovely camera in her equally lovely studio. Since then however I've been attempting to recreate the feel using my kitchen table and mobile phone camera... got to start somewhere! 

Happy New Year!

The drawing a day will continue! I missed two days in 2015 and filled 4 sketchbooks which I'm looking forward to looking through again as a reminder of what I did last year, where I went and who I saw.

Here is a little bit of New Year fun (link below) from one of my Christmas card designs from this year. Next year there will be cards for sale so do watch this space!

Happy New Year!

Christmas!

... seems forever ago already!

I've spent the evening scanning some sketches that I did over the festive period...

Compare and contrast!

Yesterday I looked at my beautiful Christmas tree and thought about drawing one of the decorations. I looked at them all, settled on one, then had to sit on the floor with my back in the draught from the door so I could see it at the angle I wanted! This is the one I settled on
12.12.2013
I sat down this evening and wondered what I might draw today. Out of interest I thought I'd have a look in the 2008 book to see what inspired me 5 years ago.
This little picture caught my eye...
09.12.2008
I couldn't believe it! I had no conscious recollection that I had drawn that one before.

One of my friends had a look through the drawing a day books recently and she noticed I'd drawn a few things in both 2008 and 2013, so tonight, after the above discovery I decided to investigate further!

There are the bananas!...

The favourite mug (struggled with the type both times!) Bizarrely only a week or so apart (+5years!).

And also this keyring! I will keep an eye out for more!

A little bit festive!

I thought I was quite good at not being too-Christmassy-too-soon however, these festive treats appeared in the house...
